Shearling was massive last year but this year sheepskin looks set to be the trim of choice. This Mulberry number is timelessly on trend and is laid-back luxury at its best.

Part trench coat, part biker jacket, this ingenious hybrid is a perfect transeasonal piece. On paper, a denim and sheepskin jacket might sound a bit Canadian bear hunter, but in reality, it’s a beautifully created jacket with clever tailoring.

It features an asymmetric zip fastening, gold buttons, belted cuffs and two spacious front pockets. The sheepskin lining really makes the jacket and will keep you warm even into winter. I love it so much I want to wear it now.

Team with luxe leather leggings, a preppy blouse and ankle boots for a chilled daytime look. The perfect jacket for taking long walks in, it would also look fantastic with an old pair of Doc Martens you have lying around and jeans.

Mulberry, it’s usually your bags I go head-over-heels for, but this time round, I want this jacket!

Mulberry are full of surprises, and just when we think we can’t love them more, they go and produce something brilliantly bonkers with the brilliantly bonkers photographer, Tim Walker. The inspiration behind the A/W '11 collection, was Fantastic Mr Fox (which you could tell by the taxidermy everywhere at the show), and the theme has carried on into their new campaign. Shot by Walker, the models are surrounded by owls, foxes (natch) and birds, bringing as much attention to the clothes as they do to the ever-covetable bags. But a set of images isn’t enough for Mulberry, oh no, they have to take it further with a film! Directed by Luke Losey, the short clip brings the collection to lilfe, and never has Mike Snow’s Animal been used better!
